‘Ruhire’ a film which goes under the theme ‘a love written in blood’ will be in cinemas soon. The story rotates around a young man who has fallen prey to having an affair while being married.
Starring Roshan Ranawana, Pabodha Sandeepani, Maheshi Madusanka, and Vishva Lanka, this film falls under the horror film category. The film was shot for around 60 days in Colombo, Matale, and Nuwara Eliya.
Many had started talking about this production especially after the trailer was released on YouTube. Produced by Udara Palliyaguru who directed’Super Six’. He has also produced several films like ‘Sama’, ‘Pani Makuluwo’, ‘Susthi’ and ‘Aale Corona’. He introduced artistes like Hemal Ranasinghe and Aruni Rajapaksa to Sri Lankan cinema. He had also introduced many young filmmakers to the industry and Najini Dikovita makes her directorial debut through ‘Ruhire’. She has also penned the script.
The music is done by the Bathiya and Santhush duo while Ashanthi de Alwis and Santhush Weeraman have rendered their voices for the songs. Kapila Sugath Wijayaratne is the cinematographer. The film is presented by Guththila Productions.
