The Jaffna District Secretariat announced yesterday that visitors to Nagadeepa, Delft Island, and Analathivu Island have been suspended due to the prevailing COVID-19 situation in the country.
A coronavirus patient has been detected in Pungudutivu, and the jetty to visit the aforementioned places in Jaffna are in close proximity to this area. While visitors are not allowed, all other boat passengers would be thoroughly checked at the jetty.
