Sangamitta House emerged Champions collecting 497 points at the Annual Inter house Athletic Championship of Pushpadana Balika Vidyalaya,Kandy held at the Asgiriya Grounds,Kandy on the 4th of March, 2020 Under the patronage of Ms. Hemantha Abeygunaratne, former Deputy Principal (Administration and Co-curricular activities) of Pushpadana Girls College,kandy and the Guest of Honour, Ms.Sriyani Dharmasena, a renowned Past Pupil of Pushpadana Girls College. The acting Principal of the School Ms.M.D. Wimalawickrema received the Guests and delivered the welcome Address.
The former Principal of Pushpadana Ms.Lalitha Egodawela was also present on the occasion and Kumidunie Tennakoon, Prefect of Games coordinated the Sports Meet with the assistance of the other teachers of the School.
