Death of veteran journalist, editor Saman Wagaarachchi

Senior journalist Saman Wagaarachchi, a former Editorial Director at Lake House and a former Editor of ‘Dinamina' passed away yesterday at the age of 69.

Wagaarachchi has also worked as the Features Editor at ‘Yukthiya’ and the Chief Editor of the Lakbima newspaper. His remains will be at the Jayaratne Funeral Parlour in Borella till March 17 and then taken to his Kegalle residence the same afternoon. The funeral will be held on March 19 in Kegalle, family sources said.
