Patali Champika Ranawaka released on bail

Former Minister Patali Champika Ranawaka was released by the Colombo Magistrate’s Court on a cash bail of Rs 25,000 and two sureties of Rs 500,000 each.
Former minister, who was arrested in connection with a case where he had allegedly caused a motor accident in 2016 in which a youth was critically injured, was produced before the Colombo Magistrate’s Court this morning.
