Renowned award winning film director Jayantha Chandrasiri began work on this latest film ‘Midunu Vishwaya’ (Frozen Cosmos) recently. The film is based on the theme of hypnotic trance. The tale develops between two beings in diverse time frames and their relationship becomes complex due to this reason.
The story, script and direction is by Chandrasiri. Ruwan Jayasinghe is the producer on behalf of Roo Cinema Creations.
The film stars Uddika Premaratne, Chulakshi Ranatunga, Udari Warnakulasooriya, Buddhika Jayaratne, Sriyantha Mendis, Damitha Abeyratne, Ayeshara Athukorala, Kusum Renu, Mahesh Wickramasinghe, Sudath Anthony, Wasantha Vitachchi, Nirmala Aluthgama, Ajith de Silva, Uditha Gunaratne, Nuwan Aluthgama, Geetha Perera, Lalith Jayaratne, Lakshman Rajapaksha, Madhurya Mendis, Dilip Abeysekara, and Gamini Jayalath.
Nimal Wijesiri Senadeera is the Line Producer. Praveen Jayaratne is the cinematographer and editor. Navaratne Gamage had composed the melodies. Piyatissa Akuramboda is the art director. Indika Udara Lanka is in charge of the make up department.
Nimal Graphics, Sarath Senaratne, Tissa Gunatileke and Sanjaya Bandaranayake are the assistant directors. Prasanna Ithathapana is the production manager. Ajith Fernando is the assistant production manager.
Dammika Pathirana is the still photographer and videographer.
