People all around the globe celebrate World Milk Day on June 1 since 2001. This is the day established by the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations to recognize and celebrate the importance of milk to human life.
Lanka Dairies (Pvt) Limited, Subsidiary of Lanka Milk Foods (CWE) Plc, decided way back in 1995 that not only is milk so wholesome, it is so precious that it needed to be conveniently packed and served to satisfy daily nutritional requirements of the community.
