An undergraduate couple of Eastern University were seated and talking at the Wandaramulla sub-station around 5 pm on Saturday (19), when a man approached them and attacked the male student, and fled with his Apple mobile phone that was in his hand.
Eravur Police investigating the incident said the stolen phone worth Rs. 189,000 was being tracked to apprehend the suspect. The victim of the theft is a resident of Mabodala, Divulapitiya.
