Obituaries

Rev. Fr. PONTIUS RONNIE PERERA,​ of the Archdiocese of Colombo,​ expired on Tuesday,​ 24th December 2024. He was the beloved son of the late Mr G. Carlo Perera and the late Mrs P. Elizabeth Cooray. To the public to pay their respects,​ his remains will lie in state at the Sacred Heart Church,​ Mattumagala on Thursday,​ 26th December,​ from 9.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. His remains will then be transferred to St. Mary’s Church,​ Maggona. The Requiem Mass will be held on Friday,​ 27th December at 3.00 p.m. followed by burial at the RC Cemetery,​ Maggona. Archbishop’s House,​ Borella.
