Vaccine case: Fourteen former Ministers gave CID statements

The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has so far recorded statements from 14 Cabinet Ministers of the previous Government regarding the investigation into the purchase of substandard antibody vaccines.

According to the information of the Criminal Investigation Department, only four more are left to record their statements.

Former President Ranil Wickremesinghe, former Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena and former Public Security Minister Tiran Alles are among them. A senior officer of the Criminal Investigation Department said that it is expected to obtain statements from them withinthe next week.
