Umayanga Mihiran, who represented Sri Lanka in the Asian Boxing Championship held in Thailand, won the bronze medal and arrived at Katunayake Airport on the afternoon of Today. This tournament was held in Chan Mai, Thailand from November 28th to December 11th with the participation of 210 athletes from 22 Asian countries.
In that tournament, Umayanga Mihiran, who competed under the 51 kg weight class, had won the bronze medal. He is an undergraduate student at University of Jayawardenepura. The President of Sri Lanka Boxing Federation to welcome him and other boxers who participated in this tournament.
