“Leptospirosis” confirmed as the cause of 7 fatalities in the northern region

“After testing multiple samples, the fever that affected the northern part of the island and resulted in seven fatalities has been confirmed as Leptospirosis, commonly referred to as ‘rat fever,’ according to the Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health.”
