Deepavali festival allowance increased

The annual Deepavali bonus provided by state plantation companies to their employees has been increased to Rs. 20,000 this year, doubling from the previous amount of Rs. 10,000, in recognition of the festival, which is celebrated with great enthusiasm by the Tamil community.
