Two interesting inter school rugby games will be played on August 3 Saturday Trinity College will host Dharmaraja College at Pallekele and Kingswood College will host Zahira College at Bogambara.
At Pallekelle Trinity College led by Anuhas Kodithuwaku will be at full strength to play home town school Dharmaraja College led by Nimnesh Peries both teams are equally good, both teams are in Dialog schools under 20 Division one group “A”. Trinity College are placed third with four wins and two losses in six games, t. Dharmaraja College are 5th in six games having won 3 and lost 3. Last year’s game was played at Bogambara Stadium and the talented Dharmaraja College side clinched a historic first win against Trinity College; they brought down a much fancied Trinity College side by 17-15.
Trinity College will be expecting a lot from players like skipper Anuhas Kodithuwaku, Ravin Illaangarthne, Thisanga Diisanayake, Sachindu Wanasekara, Yewan Hulangamuwa and Sinusha Peries. Dharmaraja College will be expecting a lot from skipper Nimesh Peirs, Kavith Jayamanne, Anjana Panthatipola, Kalana Jayawickrema, Tharindu Ekanayake and Ravindu Wickramage.
At Boagambara Stadium – Kignswood College will entertain Zahira College; this eagerly awaited confrontation between the two schools should produce good quality rugby. Kingswood College are blessed with a good side and will be expecting a lot from ruggerites like skipper Anudha Upek, Damindu de Silva, Nifraz, Ruzik, Basith Haild, Kavindu Muthumala and Nafeez Ahamd the rest of the players too are in food form to handle the ball well.
Zahira College are blessed with a good side, and have six of last year players and will be expecting a lot from Captain Sabri Saibo, Rahath Saldin, Ijas Inam , Tuan Raheem , Aakif Azmil are sure to play well.
