Herath Foundation donates ambulance, nebulisers to USJ

The Herath Foundation donated an ambulance and nebulisers to the University of Sri Jayewardenepura.

The Herath Foundation in Japan, in collaboration with the Alumni Association of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura (USJ), donated an ambulance and nebulising machines to the University of Sri Jayewardenepura at the Sumangala Auditorium on Wednesday (31).

The event concluded with the formal handing over of the ambulance and nebulisers to the University’s Vice Chancellor Senior Professor Pathmalal Manage, followed by a performance featuring Sri Lankan traditional drums.

Several guests including Herath Foundation President Professor Ajantha Herath, Thamagawa Friendship Association President and former Mayor of Thamagawa City, Japan, Hatho Kawakam and University Grants Commission Chairman Senior Prof. Sampath Amaratunge were present.
