The Western Province Intellectual Forum (WPIF) had organised a One Day Workshop on teaching and learning for the newly appointed teachers in Western Province on Saturday July 13 at the Al Hidaya College M.C. Bahardeen Auditorium, Colombo.
It was held under the patronage of President of the Forum and Former Examination Commissioner A.S. Mohamed.
Fathih Institute of Higher Education Senior Lecturer Dr. Rauf Zain, Dr. M.S. Mohamed Shifa, Dr. Rishad Basheer, Former Election Commissioner M. S. Mohamed and Attorney at Law M.C.M. Muneer addressed the gathering.
More than 50 teachers from Colombo, Gamapha and Kalutara districts were present at the workshop.
Chief Guest of the ceremony Sri Lanka Islamic Centre Chairman Hussain Mohamed, Zeenath Trading Private Limited Chairman A.H.M. Maheer and others distributed certificates to the participants. Joint Secretaries of the Forum A.R.M. Muzammil and Ali Hassan along with other members were also present.
