Maldivian Minister of Foreign Affairs Moosa Zameer who is on an official visit to Sri Lanka, met the Foreign Minister Ali Sabry today.
The Foreign Minister said that the discussion was centered around further strengthening the bilateral relations between Sri Lanka and Maldives.
“Our discussion centered around further strengthening our excellent bilateral relations, specially in the areas of economic cooperation, health, education, fisheries, youth and sports & social protection”, said the Minister on X, formerly known as Twitter.
He further said that, “Sri Lanka and the Maldives share a strong bond built on longstanding trust and friendship, and I am confident that this relationship will be further strengthened in the years to come”.
