Sri Lanka cricket team apologises for team’s poor performance

The Sri Lanka captain Kusal Mendis apologized to the Sri Lankan Cricket fans following the team’s performance at the ICC Cricket World Cup.

He apologized on behalf of the squad, during a press conference held at Sri Lanka Cricket’s head office today.

He also said that the Sri Lanka team was not under any threats or external pressures to underperform during the  tournament.
