Ven. Dimbulagala Rahulalankara Nayake Thera has been appointed as the Dimbulagala Aranya Chief Incumbent. This appointment was made on September 27, by the Most Venerable Thirikunamale Ananda Mahanayake Thera, the Maha Nayake of the Amarapura Dharmarakshitha Maha Nikaya.
The chief monk, Ven. Dimbulagala Rahulalankara Thera, who is a senior disciple of Venerable Matara Kithalagama Sri SeelalankaraNayake Thera, who served as the Senasanadhipati, of the historical Dimbulagala Aranya, entered the Buddha Sasana 42 years ago.
Ven. Rahulalankara Nayake Thera is known as a leader dedicated to religious and social missions of the province, as well as the Buddha Sasana.
