Welamboda Police arrested a Constable working for the Kegalle Police on Monday 25, who allegedly assaulted and injured a person who assaulted his mother.
This Constable is a resident of Welamboda Bambaragaha Canal area. The Welamboda Police said that he found a person who attacked his mother when he came home on vacation. Police said that a 33-year-old man named Mama Kolla, a resident of Bambaragala Elpitikanda, was assaulted by the PC and was hospitalised with injuries. According to a complaint received regarding this assault, the Constable was arrested.
