US based RM Parks will begin fuel distribution in Sri Lanka next month with 150 sheds under Shell brand.
The company will open 50 more sheds on their own later. RM Parks which operates under Shell PLC will become the fourth player to enter the country’s fuel market after Ceylon Petroleum Corporation, Lanka Indian Oil Corporation and Sinopec.
RM Parks in a collaboration with Shell PLC signed the agreement to enter the Sri Lanka petroleum business in July. They signed a 20 year agreement to import, distribute and sell petroleum products through 150 fuel stations.They will upgrade the fuel stations with new automated dispensers, electric charge stations, mini markets and cafes.
