Seeduwa Police say they have identified the dead body of a male hidden in a travelling bag that was abandoned on the banks of the Dadugam Oya in Seeduwa on Friday night.
Police said the dead man, a resident of Marawila area has a number of cases pending against him for defrauding people after promising lucrative foreign jobs. Police further states that complaints against him have been lodged at several Police stations. Police also have received information that he had been missing from his place of residence in recent times. Police however stated that so far there is no clue about the people who murdered him. Seeduwa Police are conducting further investigations regarding the incident.
