The 18th ESOFT Blue & Gold Hockey 7s, a premier event organized by Royal College in partnership with the Royal College Hockey Club (RCHC), is set to kick off today and continue through tomorrow at the iconic Royal College grounds, with action commencing at 8 a.m.
This year’s tournament, sponsored by ESOFT Metro Campus, Sri Lanka’s leading higher educational network, promises to be a showcase of top-tier hockey competition. A remarkable 66 teams will participate making it the largest hockey tournament in Sri Lanka this year. The schedule includes an impressive 146 matches to be played across three courts at the Royal College Hockey ground over the weekend.
The ESOFT Blue & Gold Hockey Sevens will crown champions in several categories, including Cup, Plate, and Bowl champions for both boys’ and girls’ divisions. The event is not only about sports but also reflects ESOFT’s commitment to advancing and uplifting secondary education standards..
