Accomplice of main drug trafficker arrested in Koralawella

The Police Special Task Force said that the main henchman of notorious drug trafficker Costa, who was in jail, was arrested in Koralawella, Moratuwa, along with a haul of drugs worth over Rs. 5 millions.

The raid had been conducted on a tip-.off by the officers of the Special Task Force Special Operations III, as per the orders and instructions of Special Task Force Commanding Officer Deputy Inspector General Varuna Jayasundara.

Thirty two-year-old suspect, a resident of Moratuwa along with 502 grams of heroin, was arrested with a mobile phone and a digital scale and handed over to the Police Narcotics Bureau.
