Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa is suspected of having relations with the controversial Pastor Jerome Fernando and he should reveal his position regarding the Pastor, former SJB Vice President P. Harrison said.
Harrison added that Pastor Jerome had made blasphemous statements about the Buddha.“Many people have made statements about this pastor. President Ranil Wickremesinghe has asked for an investigation into the pastor,” he said.
Harrison wondered as to why the Opposition Leader is silent about this. “We doubt if he has anything to do with the pastor,” he said.
Half of Samagi Jana Balawegaya will support President Ranil Wickremesinghe soon said former SJB Vice President P. Harrison while announcing his support to the President.
P. Harrison yesterday at a press conference in Anuradhapura said that Opposition Leader Sajith Preamadasa called his wife and his brother and begged them not to let me to leave the Party.
Harrison said that he is ready to release the relevant audio clip, if the Opposition Leader wishes.
Harrison said this in response to a question asked by a journalist regarding a statement made at the SJB press conference that Harrison is an insignificant character.
“The people can understand whether I am a insignificant character or not, when the relevant audio clip is released by me”, he said.
He said that he is not ready to release the audio clip without Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa’s permission because he has worked with Sajith Premadasa even for a day.
