Country should be rebuilt on a firm foundation - NPP

National People’s Power (NPP) Leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake yesterday stressed the importance   of bringing the country under new legal framework where law supercedes.

Addressing a rally yesterday, Dissanayake said that the country should have a system under which law is applied to all equally.“We need a country where Muslim, Tamil and Sinhala people co-exist.

He said that the country should be rebuilt on a firm foundation. “Such a country will receive due recognition from other countries,” he said.
