The National People’s Power (NPP) led by Anura Kumara Dissanayake is unable to obtain a single cent from other countries for Sri Lanka as it has no support from the international community, said Opposition Leader and Leader of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) Sajith Premadasa.
He stated this addressing a public rally in Hanguranketha yesterday.
He said none of the rich nations would support the NPP to rebuild this country by providing financial assistance. Premadasa also said that the public should look into the conduct of the political parties when they are in the Opposition with no political power before voting for them.
He also questioned whether the NPP has provided a single sip of water to the public as a concession while in Opposition and asked therefore whether they should be given the power to rule the country.
