Deceitful cop in hot water

A Police officer who had a close relationship with a mentally retarded girl after promising to marry her was handed over   to the Karandeniya Police by her brother after he tried to leave her.

The said Police Constable in question is already married and is attached to the Ambalangoda Police station.He is said to have appeared under an assumed name while started the relationship with the girl.

The brother of the girl who is said to have found the true intentions of the Policeman had handed him over to the Police.
