Thai delegation here for Atamasthanadhipathi’s ceremony

A Buddhist delegation from Thailand including 28 Bhikkhunis and laymen arrived in the country to participate in the ceremony to present Sri Sannas Pathra to the newly appointed Atamasthanadhipathi Ven. Pallegama Hemarathana Thera, last morning.

They arrived in the country around 10.45 a.m.by UL-403 flight. The delegation will stay in the country for four days and will visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic in Kandy following the event. A group of devotees from the Atamasthana in Anuradhapura was present to welcome the delegation at the airport.
