Seniru Niduwara left-arm leg spinner picked up 14 wickets for 40 runs to help Vidyaloka College, Galle, claim an innings and 235-run win over Wanduramba Central College in their first-round fixture of the under 19 Inter-school Two-day Cricket Tournament yesterday.  

St. Joseph’s College, Wattala beat Karunarathne Buddhist College Ragama by 59 runs.  

Harischandra National School Negombo beat Sandalanka Central College by 9 wickets and Rajasinghe Central College Hanwella beat Royal College Horana by an innings and 29 runs. Other matches were drawn.  

Praveen Maneesha of Rajasinghe Central Hanwella claimed 12 wickets for 127 runs and Sanuth Mandiv scored 135 runs against Royal College Horana. Sanuth Mandiv scored 135 runs for Rajasinghe Central in the same match.
