Donation from South Korea to Horana Hospital

Two machines worth Rs. 5 million were donated to the Horana Base Hospital.

Venerable Katuwana Vijitha Nayake Thera, Chief Incumbent of the Daegu Sri Lankarama Temple, Daegu, South Korea, and the Buddhist Dayaka Sabha donated two machines for the Horana Base Hospital, at a cost of Rs. 5 million.  

A sterilization machine and a machine used to prevent blood clots in the legs of patients who have undergone surgery were presented to Consultant Dr. Ayanthi Jayawardena, Medical Superintendent at the Horana Base Hospital, with the intervention of Ben, the Sri Lanka brand ambassador in South Korea.  

Kalutara Regional Health Services Director Dr. Udaya Ratnayake, Sri Lanka brand ambassador in South Korea Ben, Horana Base Hospital Deputy Medical Director Hemantha Kumara and staff were also present.
