Habitual thief on the rampage again

A complaint was received by the Ambalantota Police yesterday morning about a burglary which had taken place in the Ambalantota town, where a person had broken a glass door of a showroom and helped himself to the cash which had been in a drawer.

The burglary had been recorded on the CCTV at the establishment and the footage has been handed over to the Ambalantota Police who are investigating the incident.

It is said that the police are in possession of CCTV footage of the same person breaking into establishments in the Tangalle, Ranna and Hungama police areas previously.
