Go abroad only via legitimate foreign job agencies - SLFEB

Persons who wish to go abroad are urged to check the legitimacy of foreign employment agencies by which they hope to go abroad.

The Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Bureau (SLFEB) urges people to call the SLFEB hotline 1989 for information and to check the legitimacy of foreign employment agencies before handing over money and passports to them. They can visit the SLFEB website, www.slbfe.lk to confirm the legitimacy of the relevant agencies for overseas employments.
