Litro Gas yesterday announced the reduction of gas prices. Accordingly the price of 12.5 kg cylinder has been reduced by Rs. 201. The new price is Rs. 4,409. A 5 kg cylinder had been reduced by Rs. 80 and the new price is Rs. 1,770.
The price of a 2.3 kg cylinder has also been reduced by Rs. 30 and the new price is Rs 822. The new prices are effective in the Colombo district from yesterday.
