Man arrested with fake Indian passport

The Katunayake Airport Unit of the Criminal Investigation Department has arrested a resident of Jaffna on Sunday who was preparing to go to the United Kingdom while posing as an Indian with a fake Indian passport.

The 33-year-old suspect who was trying to go to the United Kingdom with an Indian passport also had a fake UK Visa. The Criminal Investigation Department is also conducting further investigations and arresting the people who assisted the suspect with the fake documents.
