Twelve breast cancer cases reported daily

According to the National Cancer Control Programme, survey reports have revealed that 12 breast cancer cases are reported every day.

The programme states that 30,000 new cancer cases are reported annually and breast cancer is the most common cancer among women. The risk of breast cancer increases with age, and about 80 percent of all reported cases of breast cancer are women over the age of 50.The incidence of breast cancer among women is 100 times higher than that of men.
