The Public Health Inspector’s Union has decided not to report to work today as a protest for two recent incidents.
The two incidents are threats against PHI union leader Upul Rohana following his controversial statement about ‘Thriposha’ containing the carcinogen aflatoxin and the decision to cut off Rs. 6,000 monthly expenditure allowance given to PHI’s.
