Pramodya felicitated by Alma mater

National cricket selection committee chairman Promodya Wickramasinghe receiving a special momento from the Rahula College OBA Colombo Branch president Dr. Sujeewa Lokuhewa.The renown cricket commentator and the umpire Jaliya Jayantha who also is an old boy of Rahula College is also present.

Former National cricket paceman Pramodya Wickramasinghe was felicitated by his alma mater Rahula College Old Boys Association (Colombo Branch) recently. Pramodya who was created history as the paceman who bowled first ball at the 1996 Wills World Cup final at Lahore Gaddafi Stadium once again entered the Sri Lankan cricket history to take all ten wickets for SSC against Kalutara TC at the Premier cricket tournament and he was the first Sri Lankan bowler to do so.

Pramodya Wickramasinghe the chairman of the National Selection committee was honoured after winning the Asia Cup. When the team get victory selection committee received honours. However the present selection committee made many brave decisions to make successful cricket series and their next target is the T-20 World Cup in Australia. Pramodya and his committee already selected the T 20 World Cup squad last week.
