Yohani’s ‘Menike’ song in ‘Thank God’ gets over 34 mn views

The song ‘Menike’ jointly sung by Sri Lankan singer Yohani de Silva with Jubin Nautiyal and Surya Ragunathan for the Bollywood film ‘Thank God’ reached 34 million views on YouTube by yesterday.

‘Menike’ is the first song of this film and the song was was released last Friday morning (16).

This is a remake of the Sinhala song ‘Menike Mage Hithe’ sung by Yohani which was released in 2020 and went viral across the globe earlier this year. Originally composed by Chamath Sangeeth, the Hindi version of the song has been recreated by Tanishk Bagchi.
