Monday declared school, public holiday

Monday September 19 will be a school holiday with the Government declaring September 19 as a day of mourning and a special holiday in view of the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II who was the Queen of Ceylon until 1972.

A decision has been taken to declare a holiday for public schools and government approved schools in line with the government decision.
