Myanmar Vice Sangha Raja donates US$ 10,000 to Sri Lanka

Vice Sangha Raja of Myanmar Sitagu Sayadaw Most. Ven. Dr. Ashin Nyanissara donated US$ 10,000 to the Government of Sri Lanka to buy essential medicines and food items for the Sri Lankan people on September 9.

The donation was officially handed over to the Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Myanmar Janaka Bandara by Sitagu Sayadaw Most Ven. Dr. Ashin Nyanissara at the Sitagu International Buddhist Academy in Yangon when the Ambassador paid his homage to the Vice Sangha Raja of Myanmar.

Accepting the donation, Ambassador Janaka Bandara extended his gratitude and sincere thanks to the Most Ven. Vice Sangha Raja of Myanmar for the generous gesture.
