Lyceum International school, Bogamuwa, Gampaha won the under 19 boys group title at the 2022 all island schools, under 19 Table Tennis Championship held recently at the St. Thomas Sports complex, Mount Lavinia. Gampaha Lyceum boys team beat Kurunegala Maliyadeva in the final.
Gampaha Lyceum International School director Mrs. Dilmi Rathnayake has encouraged the promotion of Table tennis in the school, and takes a lot of interest in sports activities. Her backing and intense training has produced results.
The team was coached by former Sri Lanka Natioal Table Tennis player Lalith Perera.
