Minister meets WB over CEB, CPC reforms

Power and Energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekera yesterday discussed the proposed reforms plan of the Ceylon Electricity Board and the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation with the World Bank Country Manager Chiyo Kanda.

Their discussion also focused on the technical and financial assistance for the development of energy sector, renewable energy and transformation of the energy sector.

“Met with World Bank country manager this morning at the Power Ministry. WB Technical experts on Energy sector joined online and discussed the Proposed reform plans of CEB and CPC, technical and financial assistance for development, renewable energy, transformation of the energy sector”, the Minister tweeted.
