The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) is seeking the support of the public to identify several individuals who are said to have damaged the properties in the Prime Minister’s Office in Flower Road, Colombo during the unlawful entry on July 13.
The Police Headquarters released the photographs of 17 such individuals to the media yesterday. According to the CID, it is conducting investigations into the matter based on the photos and video footage obtained during the tense situation at that premises on July 13.
Any person with verified information about the suspects are requested to contact the CID through the mobile numbers 071-859 49 50, 071-859 49 01 or 071-859 49 24 or WhatsApp that information to the same numbers. Police hotline 011 -2 422 176 is also open for the public to provide such information, the Police Headquarters said.
