Australia ‘A ‘chasing a target of 367 were 37 for 1 wicket at stumps after the third day’s play in the second four-day game against Sri Lanka ‘A’ played at the Mahinda Rajapaksa Stadium yesterday.
Sri Lanka ‘A’ scored 330 for 9 declared and 290 in the second innings while Australia ‘A’ were bowled out for 254 in the first innings and they require 330 runs to win with nine wickets in hand.
Nipun Dhananjaya (77) and Sahan Arachchige (58) made two fighting knocks to build up Sri Lanka’s second innings.
