The Justice Ministry has taken steps to interdict the Fiscal Officer of the Colombo Commercial High Court, who is said to have conveyed the controversial Enjoining Order on Aeroflot aircraft to the Air Traffic Controller of the

Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) on June 2 , threatening that aviation officer to prevent the said aircraft from leaving the BIA.Issuing a press release, the Ministry also said it had taken steps to write to the Chief Justice seeking action against the Attorney, who had accompanied the Fiscal Officer to the BIA. Justice Minister Dr. Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe commenting on the Aeroflot flight issue on Monday said that necessary action will be taken against the Fiscal Officer and the Attorney in question.
