Rev. Fr. Victor Silva reached another milestone in his illustrious academic career by successfully completing his doctoral studies programme in Education from the University of Azteca, Mexico – through Standard Institute of Business Management (SIBM), Battaramulla after obtaining Baccalaureate in Theology (B.Th.) from the University of Urbania – Rome.
At the National Seminary, Ampitiya, he pursued his studies to complete a Baccalaureate in Arts (B.A.), from University of Peradeniya. Later on he was admitted to the Institute of Education, in the renowned University of London (UK), where he completed the Post Graduate Diploma in Education and obtained a Master’s Degree specializing in Educational Psychology (MA) in the same university.
Having served for a long period in two great academic institutions of St. Peter’s College, Bambalapitiya and St. Joseph’s College, Colombo 10, he recently crowned his academic career with a Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Education.
He is presently serving as the Director of ‘Subodhi’, Institute of Integral Education, Piliyandala.
