Disaster Relief Services Officer drowns in floodwaters

Disaster Relief Services Officer Punsiri Karunaratne attached to the Kiriella Divisional Secretariat was washed away with the current of flood waters and drowned on May 31, while he was on a field visit. His remains was found on June 01.
