Army launches next Booster vaccination

At the request of health authorities, the Sri Lanka Medical Corps troops and Security Force Headquarters - West troops are currently conducting the fourth stage of COVID-19 vaccination programme for the benefit of civilians, at the Vihara Maha Devi Park.

On the guidelines given by Chief of Defence Staff and Army Commander General Shavendra Silva, medical teams at the Colombo Army Hospital, Narahenpita, are continuing with the vaccination of the booster dose being provided after inoculation of first doses and the first Pfizer booster dose.

The Security Force Headquarters - West closely supervises and coordinates the vaccination project.
