Traffic plan for Independence Day celebration, rehearsals

The 74th Independence Day celebrations will be held on Friday, February 4 at Independence Square, Colombo 7.

Police Headquarters in a media release stated that rehearsals will take place from 7.00 am to 2.00 pm daily till February 3 and the Independence Day celebrations will begin at 6.00 am on February 4.

Several roads around Independence Square will be closed in view of the rehearsals, and vehicular movement on several roads in Colombo will also be restricted until February 4.
